Megan Marie is a 28 year old soprano and has been singing for most of her life. Her voice has been compared to Alanis Morissette and Crystal Lewis (which are both completely different)! She has a wide range of styles such as: classical, oldies, modern, contemporary Christian, modern rock , and R&B. She has sang at many weddings, and has been in many performances, concerts, competitions and musicals. She sings the National Anthem at many events including the Portland Beavers, Portland Timbers and the Salem/Keizer Volcanoes.
Megan Marie lives in Salem, Oregon. She is a wife and mother of 2 little girls and has been married for 10 years. She is a Christian and sings locally at a church. She sings at various locations throughout Oregon and in other states, as well. She is currently working on recording song demos for the site and has a previous recording. She also works with several other artist in the area.
In 2005 she started working with a hip-hop artist, Wesos. They have currently formed the band "stillfire". This group is an interesting display of a variety of sounds and styles. As if combining Megan Marie's powerful yet soulful vocals with the rough and rugged raps of Wesos wasn't enough, they decided to get even more creative. They brought in musicians from various backgrounds including Brad Hern, a hardcore guitarist, from a band formerly known as Unshrunk, and Jeramy Steele who is primarily rooted in old school Metal. This group is currently looking for a keyboardist and percussionist, and will be scouting for people who play unique instruments, such as violins, banjos, mandolins, dijeree doos, etc.... for recordings.
